On november 8, 2009 we played at Pavillion EILAND EEN in Vinkeveen, followed by a jam-session with Truus Engels in which some members of the band participated.

2008
We started this year with a gig in De Badcuyp, on januari, 6 in Amsterdam, with singer David Chassé.

Followed by gigs (september 14 and october 12, a.o.) on a very special location in de Eastern Docklands: The Kompaszaal, KNSM-Laan 311, Amsterdam, with singer David Chassé. A location with great acoustics.

Our yearly gig on 'Queen's Day' is almost becoming a tradition. Again at Elsa's Café, Middenweg 73, Watergraafsmeer, Amsterdam.

In between we accompanied a Jazzfest to celebrate the birthday of Truus Engels in the Marnixbad/Zink in Amsterdam. Together with singer David Chassé and the Pastrellis R&R.

New for us was a gig in theater Odeon on sunday June, 1 in Amsterdam. We were joined by singer Lils Mackintosh and a dancegroup doing a dance demonstration. We performed here again on sunday September, 7th and november 2nd.

And again this year a gig in De Badcuyp, in Amsterdam, on june 17 this time. We start at 15:30 hrs.
With a guest performance of singer David Chassé.

And in between again a gig at our national holiday (Queen's Day). At Elsa's Café, Middenweg 73, Watergraafsmeer, Amsterdam.

Also this autumn we will do gigs. After a successful gig on october, 15 on our usual site, De Badcuyp, in Amsterdam, we will return here on december 17. We begin at 15:30 hrs.

2005 was almost an exact copy of 2004 as far as gigs are concerned:

• may, 22 - The yearly big band festival of Café Casablanca, Zeedijk Amsterdam.
• june, 9 - We will again participate in the big band concours on the Dam in Amsterdam, organised (again) by Café Casablanca.
• november 27, sunday - our yearly gig in De Badcuyp, in Amsterdam, starting at 16:30 hrs.

• may, 23 - The yearly big band festival of Café Casablanca, Amsterdam.
• june, 10 - Participated in the big band concours on the Dam in Amsterdam, organised (again) by Café Casablanca. Also see the photo with the Palace in the background on our homepage.
• november, 21 - again a gig in De Badcuyp, in Amsterdam
• december, 18 - as part of the Night-Revue, this time in Koog aan de Zaan.

• januari, 12 - Bot Bouw Festival in Heerhugowaard
• januari, 23 - Desmet Studios, Plantage Middenlaan 4a, Amsterdam. In this radio- and tv-studio we made more live-recordings, for our second CD "Alweer in Desmet".
• januari, 24 - Community Center 't open Hof in Amstelveen.
• februari, 8 - Night-Revue, Postjesweg 1, Amsterdam.

• april, 18 - Night-Revue, Postjesweg 1, Amsterdam.
• april, 20 - Café Casablanca, Zeedijk Amsterdam.

• januari, 13 - Bot Bouw Festival in Heerhugowaard
• may, 3 - Het Einde van de Wereld. We joined this monthly talent contest and we won! This means that we will also play at the Open Haven Podium. Zie hieronder.
• june, 16 - Neighbourhood festival Transvaalbuurt, a gig in school "de Kraal" near the Steve Bikoplein.
• june, 20 - Pleintheater. Our grand final gig in this theater.

• june, 29 - Big Band Festival Medemblik. In the harbour, in front of café Brakenboer.
• august 16, 17 en 18 - Het Open Haven Podium on the Java-Eiland. The final rounds of the talentencontest of Het Einde van de Wereld. And guess what, we won again, so we played even twice on this festival.
• 15 oktober - Jazzcafé Casablanca Zeedijk 24, Amsterdam.

• januari, 14 - Jazz Session Club Vredeburg in Limmen
• april, 19 - AMP Amsterdam
• november, 22 - Desmet Studios, Plantage Middenlaan 4a, 1018 DD Amsterdam. In this professional studio our first live-recordings were made.
